Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy describes refunds and payment handling for AMBTN, operated by Kratzer & Co (ABN 35645362865), Australia.

Nature of the service. Subscriptions and purchases are for access to AMBTN’s organisational and productivity software. The app does not provide accounting, tax, BAS, or GST services. Any estimates or exports in the app are for your preparation only and do not change how store or card refunds work under the rules below.

AMBTN is a platform facilitator. The business you book with provides the underlying service and sets its own cancellation and refund rules where the law allows. AMBTN is not responsible for service quality as between you and that business.

2. Subscriptions (Apple and Google)

App subscription charges are billed through Apple (App Store on iOS) or Google Play (Android).

• We do not control subscription refunds. Refunds and eligibility are determined by Apple or Google under their rules.
• iOS: see Apple's subscription management and refund processes, Apple's Standard Terms of Use (EULA), and Apple Media Services terms.
• Android: see Google Play’s billing and refunds and Google Play’s refund policy.

You may still contact contact@kratzerco.app about account or technical issues—we cannot override storefront refund decisions.

3. Paid bookings (Stripe)

Where you pay for a booking by card using our supported flow, payment is processed by Stripe (including Stripe Connect).

• Money moves according to Stripe and the payout setup shown at payment; payments may route to the business, and the platform may retain a separate platform fee as disclosed in checkout or receipts.
• Refunds of the card transaction (when available) are processed through Stripe—often initiated by the business through the platform. Timing depends on Stripe, banks, and card rules.
• AMBTN facilitates bookings and compatible payment rails; we do not replace the business’s obligations to its customers except as required by applicable law.

AMBTN does not guarantee that any booking payment will be refunded. Whether a refund is issued, and when, depends on the business, Stripe, banking rules, and applicable law.

4. Free trials

Monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions for individual features and bundles may include a one-week free trial where shown in the App Store or Google Play purchase flow.

• You are not charged for the subscription until the trial ends if you remain subscribed—unless the store screens state otherwise.
• Cancel before the trial ends in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings if you do not want to continue.
• Lifetime one-time purchases do not include a subscription trial.

Trials and refunds for subscription charges are governed by Apple or Google; we cannot override storefront trial or refund decisions.

5. Cancellations and no-shows

For a particular appointment or service, cancellations, no-shows, and whether a fee is refundable are primarily determined by the business’s published terms (and your statutory rights). Card refunds and service fees are separate issues: a refund of a card charge cannot always resolve a dispute about the service itself.

6. Australian consumers

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies guarantees or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) where they apply.
